Data Deletion Instructions

Important: FlagPedia stores all data locally on your device only. No personal data is collected or stored on external servers. Deleting the app will permanently remove all your data.

What Data Does FlagPedia Store?

FlagPedia stores the following information locally on your device:

  • Quiz Progress: Your scores, completed quizzes, and game statistics
  • Achievements: Badges earned and continents mastered
  • App Settings: Sound preferences, notification settings, and display options
  • Daily Flag History: Flags you've viewed through the Daily Flag feature

This data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

How to Delete Your Data

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by uninstalling the app. Follow the instructions for your device:

For Android Devices:

  1. Open your device's Settings app
  2. Tap Apps or Applications
  3. Find and tap FlagPedia: World Flags Quiz
  4. Tap Storage or Storage & cache
  5. Tap Clear data to delete all app data (keeps the app installed)
  6. OR tap Uninstall to remove the app and all its data completely

Alternative Method (Google Play):

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right)
  3. Tap Manage apps & device
  4. Find FlagPedia: World Flags Quiz
  5. Tap the app, then tap Uninstall

⚠️ Warning: Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your progress, achievements, and settings. This action cannot be undone.

What Happens After Deletion?

Once you uninstall FlagPedia or clear its data:

  • All quiz progress and scores will be permanently deleted
  • All earned badges and achievements will be removed
  • All app settings will be reset to defaults
  • Daily Flag history will be cleared

If you reinstall the app later, you will start fresh with no saved data.

No Server-Side Data

FlagPedia does not maintain accounts, user profiles, or any server-side storage. We do not have access to your data and cannot delete it remotely because it never leaves your device.

You have complete control over your data at all times.

Data Backup

If you want to preserve your progress before deleting data:

  • FlagPedia data may be included in your device's automatic backup (if enabled)
  • Check your Android backup settings to manage app data backups
  • Note: We cannot access or restore your backed-up data
